Elves, wolves, and Dr. Spock

I went to a party this weekend that was more of a potluck with whole wheat spirulana cake, lasagna, and so forth. Also it was a kirtan, drum circle, and good vibes throughout i.e. not focusing just on booze and the like. Also it was a costume themed party, fairies and forest creatures, so for the occasion I dressed up in my clothes from India, complete with hand made yoga pants, three button traditional shirt, and a Kashmir silken scarf that I wrapped around my head. I took off the head wrap as it was too hot once I arrived at the party. Later that night a girl said that she liked my ears. She asked if I had cosmetic surgery to have them become pointed. She was being sincere and it was funny that she asked this, since I was born with ears that are slightly pointy. In fact in grade school I kept my hair long, because some people would kid I was an elf or Dr. Spock.
